Dr. Robert Statton BScH, DC:
Robert Statton completed his Life Science Degree at Queen's University and had his first personal experience with chiropractic care while playing Varsity Rugby. Seeing the positive health benefits from Chiropractic adjustments, he decided to pursue a career in chiropractic. He attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and quickly interned with Dr. Scott Wilson within a health club. Observing the benefits of combining chiropractic with exercise convinced him to open his first practice in an Oakville gym. After adding massage therapy and physiotherapy, there was the start of a true multidisciplinary health clinic. Dr. Rob opened another successful clinic in Hamilton, but soon the draw of the clean air and relaxation of cottage country drew him to Barrie. Barrie Core Wellness Centre was formulated over months of planning and years of experience. January 15th, 2006 saw the first day of opening of a complete health centre and true clinical health club.
Dr. Rob practices Thompson technique, with special attention to extremity adjusting and some Network Spinal Analysis. He is a big proponent of integrated treatment plans using the specialized MEDX machines with chiropractic, physiotherapy and massage therapy to relieve symptoms, correct function and promote better overall wellness. Early education and active care is always emphasized for patients. |
