Rory Allen
MSc. Kin
Kinesiologist/ Personal Trainer:

Rory has always enjoyed learning and putting into practice the many areas that are associated with fitness. The study of Kinesiology particularly sparked his interest in multidisciplinary rehab, general and optimal wellness. As a result, he has enjoyed the unique work environment that Barrie Core Wellness Centre provides.

Rory received a Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition from Thompson Direct in PA, USA. He also graduated from Davis College in New York in 2005 with a Bachelors in Religious Education and a Master in Kinesiology from Marywood University PA, USA in 2009. He is originally from Jamaica but moved to the states for his studies and then to Canada in 2009 and has enjoyed the transition. During his spare time he enjoys weight training and spending quality time with my family.

Rory believes that resistance training is vital to overall health. He believes that resistance training must be accompanied by good nutrition and that it is a foundational pillar to muscle hypertrophy, recovery and optimal health. Rory builds his programs to be personalized to your present health status. It will systematically show you your progression, and more importantly get you to your ultimate goal in a timely and efficient manner. He will also provide you with your own personalized diet plan simply because 'you cannot out train a lousy diet' so with him you will be firing on all cylinders.

He will provide you with the accountability that will get you over that hump. He will always motivate you to get the job done, constantly reminding you of your ultimate goal, you simply just have to show up, and he will do the rest.

Rory is genuinely concerned about the clients he serves; for him that is of the utmost importance for the overall success of the clinic.
