Body Blast: Blast your mood and shape your muscle. Alleviate stress to the joints and ligaments of the lower extremities with an inspiring high-intensity, low impact workout let’s use dumbbells to challenge your muscle strength with plenty repetitions for each major part of your body. Spontaneous and energetic, Body Blast provides workout for fitness enthusiasts of all levels.
Power Max 10: A complete athletic workout designed to strengthen, condition and define the muscles like nothing else can. Power Max 10 is the fastest way to get in shape. There are 10 songs designated to a different body part. You will use the barbell and a set of dumbbells to train the entire body in one hour. This is a weight training class assigned for aerobic studio.
Step: This technical program is geared toward trained steppers to become even more proficient. Proper stepping technique, multilevel and progressive step with
elements of dance choreography patterns. Not for the faint hearted, Step Challenge is the great cardio workout that will get you back on your step and right into shape.
L-(legs) B-(Buns) A-(Abs): Simple yet po werful training based on squats, lunges and crunches… It is a low impact class focused on increasing lower body strength linked with simple movement and transition. You will use your body resistance to obtain the most favorable appear of your physique.
Max Power 10/ABS-o-lute Madness: A combination of Max Power 10(as described above) It is then switched to shock your abdominals and oblique with plenty of reps and sets. Discover better posture and alignment with the stronger lower back and abdominal region. Do not try this at home.
Low Impact: Low-impact aerobics are those movements involving large muscle groups used in continuous rhythmic activity in which at least one foot contacts the floor at all times. It has evolved to decrease the lower leg overuse injuries associated with high-impact classes. This type of exercise is ideal for special populations such as seniors, pregnant women and overweight people. It is an excellent way to begin an to begin an exercise program for those who have not exercised for some time and who want to ease into a program.
Spinning: A stationary cycling class that combines rhythmic control training, with popular athletic drills! This dynamic workout uses rhythmic training as active aerobic recovery drills, while capitalizing the intensity of athletic performance drills. This interval-style workout provides the foundations to establish the appropriate workload and recovery period related to heart rate training. Spinning is an hour workout.
Dance Hip-Hop: This Hip Hop dance class caters to beginners and those looking to come back and refine their dance moves. You will get exposed to original dance style that will build your dance repertoire with confidence. As well as build your cardio, flexibility, strength and coordination. Get ready to have a great workout as well as shake your groove thing!
Kickboxing: Kickboxing is a whole body workout that combines elements of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to provide overall physical conditioning and toning. Unlike other types of kickboxing, cardio kickboxing does not involve physical contact between competitors - it's a cardiovascular workout that's done because of its many benefits to the body.
Bootcamp: A back to basics approach to fitness incorporating cardio,
strength, speed, power, agility, endurance and balance drills. Bootcamp
workouts are a great way to get fit, lose fat, and have fun and they focus
on full body fitness.
Kids
Kids Circuit: Kids will come for an hour each week to run, play, laugh and learn. It will be a wonderfully positive experience for them. Some of the benefits Of Children's Program: builds child's self-esteem and self-confidence, participation in sports and fitness is central to peer socialization, develops skills both physical and interpersonal, diminishes fear in trying new things and children will see activity as a part of their lifestyle and become lifelong members of fitness.
Kids Yoga: Yoga is a discipline that can lead kids on the path toward a calm and balanced mind, as well as help them build a strong and flexible body - tools they can use in their everyday lives. We practice fun-filled yoga poses and breathing exercises to promote: Physical Strength and Flexibility, Concentration, Focus and Attention, Inner Strength and Body Awareness, Confidence and Self-esteem to name a few of the benefits. In our fun environment, children play yoga by imitating animals and nature, and by using creative expression, games, music, art, and storytelling.
Extra Programs
CoreART: CoreArt is workout-relaxation method based on the principle of Ying and Yang. During the workout this would mean inhalation-exhalation, strength-relaxation. Each exercise (activity) is interconnected and is completed in itself without a beginning or an end. This is a substantial integral part of the workout principle of CoreART. Each exercise and each position fits together like the pieces of a puzzle and is interconnected. During the progression through several training positions one begins at an initial point and returns to this starting point at the end of a workout unit.
Pilates: Introducing the Pilates method to Core Studio. This class is designed as a progressive mat Class. The movements focus on core stability and control. Postural muscles are emphasized. Stretching and mobility movements begin the class, followed by a variety of classical mat exercises. Pilates “provides gentle, non-impact exercises that built the abdominal muscles to stabilize the spine, protect the lower back and strengthen the buttocks.” Anyone at any fitness level can participate.
Yoga
Hatha Yoga: A form of yoga that teaches techniques related to the physical control of the body. With its emphasis on body postures (asana) and movements that include stretching and holding, hatha yoga also incorporates breathing exercises (pranayama). Hatha yoga is generally described as the mother of all yoga styles, with other styles based on the same system, but with each bringing in their own, slightly different emphasis. The postures practiced in Hatha yoga are designed to deepen the awareness and centre the body and mind.
Candlelight Flow Yoga: If you’ve never tried yoga before, or if you’d like to learn more then this program will offer you an opportunity to learn what traditional Flow Yoga is about. Offered in a candlelit sanctuary, you will learn the basics of integrating breath and body movement through a safe and gentle yoga practice. This gentle yoga class includes a short relaxation meditation as you relax.
Restorative Yoga: Beginners Welcome! This gentle, calming class uses supported poses, breath work and sound to release tension and activate the body’s natural healing system. Approximately four to six “easy” poses are experienced during each class allowing you to gently and comfortably relax and release. Leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and relaxed.
Ashtanga Flow Yoga: Sweat and have fun in this mixed Ashtanga class that includes core work and challenging postures to build strength & flexibility. This ancient and graceful flowing practice will get you super fit, increase life energy, and bring about a sense of sweaty bliss and deep peace. The Ashtanga system is taught as set series to progressively open the body and heal.
